Oculus Rift at 6 hundy.

What do you all think?

Awfully spendy and you need some serious PC hardware to run it but......

I haven't preordered and I won't but I may dip a toe in this summer. What do you all think?

At that price point (and that you need a pretty high-end gpu to run it), I think there will be a chicken-and-egg problem, where customers wait for more games/other VR systems to come on the market, and devs wait for a larger installed user base before producing games that take advantage of it.

Plus, although neat, it's always seemed like a pretty niche product to me. I have more games on my Steam account than I care to admit, and I can only think of a few that something like that would really add much to.

I think you're right but this thing is supposedly crazy beautiful. It seems like a lonely persons alternative to a 4k tv with benefits.
