Pics from a trip I just did to Zion and Bryce National Parks in Utah. We hiked three miles to the end of a trail in Zion, and then headed off-trail into the back-country where we set up camp and did day-hikes.
After we left Zion we went to Bryce and spent one night in a campground in the park. We were short on time because we got a call about a family emergency, so the next day we did the 4-mile Navajo-Queens loop trail and then headed home. The Navajo drops down into some beautiful hoodoos right away and then into more open country.
We were lucky to have good weather the entire time. Temps in the 60's during the day and down around freezing at night. Didn't get any rain until we were on the highway heading home.
