If youre traveling internationally, this app is a godsend. It allows you to complete the customs and immigration questionnaires as soon as you land back in the US. We were returning from Japan and as we were taxiing to the terminal, we turned our phones back on, submitted the forms and were sent a QR code. There were hundreds in the regular passport control line but only three in the MPC line. They scan the QR code and your passport. We were done in five minutes.

(12,441 posts)But when Ive travelled back to the US in previous years, the flight attendants passed out forms with questions like: do you have any fresh fruit or vegetables, were you in close contact with farm animals, etc. Those were the same questions on the app. No paper forms were distributed during the flight. All I know is the app saved me at least an hour of standing in line.

Additionally returning in June from Oslo-Reykjavík-Minneapolis, again we did not have to fill out any form, just a verbal "nothing to declare".
It's been a long time since forms were passed out onboard (my experience).
