7. I'm afraid I'm not seeing it.

I read the article, and there are certainly some things in there that made some sense, but it doesn't explain much of the current situation to me. Yes, Capricorn is the sign of control and restriction, but it's also the sign of justice, not just balance, as Libra is. In most explanations I've read over the last 40 years, Pluto tears down and destroys what it touches in order to create space for something new. So what has it torn down and destroyed this time? Democracy, an attempt at a fair and just society (yes, we have failed in that in many ways, I won't deny), and a beacon of hope for oppressed people around the world. So okay, that's gone now...what will it be replaced with? A return to feudalism, kings, and other dictators? Entire countries and populations held in thrall to a despotic leader?

I will caveat my statement above about Capricorn being the sign of justice by saying that its ruler, Saturn, is more about karmic justice than almost any other form, so I suppose there is an argument to be made that after centuries of colonialism, exploitation of minority peoples, and confiscation of lands, property, and wealth, perhaps it *is* karmic justice that the people of the United States will now experience the same thing.
