SkyScraping: 2025: Solely the Soul ~ 26 Dec 2024

The dawn of 2025 appears like first night of the day. During this next year, Neptune and Saturn add their attention to Aries, accentuating the long term transit of Chiron in Aries (long because he is in his aphelion sign, where a planet moves most slowly) and the more than century long transit of Eris in Aries (also in the sign of her aphelion). In actuality, these trends continue beyond 2025, through 2026 and well after Saturn departs Aries in April 2028. Truly, 2025 begins an era of cultivating clear self perception, feeling the essence of ones inner good, and pushing forward, as if there is no tomorrow.

Along with this, Pluto in Aquarius emphasizes there is no comparison to or with others that serves useful purposes. In this sign, the underworld supervisor notes you are not in competition with anyone else. Ones popularity on a social media platform, ones income strata, ones personal bombast does nothing to support or soothe the soul. In sextile to both Saturn and Neptune over the upcoming months, Pluto encourages mortals to study their reflection in the waters of the River Styx, to come up with soulful alignment free of narcissistic tendencies, personal hype and any self-appointed sense of superiority. Says Pluto, “It’s about being true to the core and doing everything you yearn to do that supports your soulful center.”

Sure, there will be heaps of mundane aspects coming up this year - we will get to them in upcoming posts. Now, with the increasing Aries trends, the wars of the world rage on and political upheaval seems more the norm than the exception. Still, maintaining a grounded personal sense of self, driving forward as if two gaseous giants, a centaur and a dwarf planet are all in Aries is the way to go. Granted it takes a few months for the Aries to get fully fortified, and there will be times later in 2025 and early 2026 with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces once again. Still, support of the soul stands as a worthy objective that causes ones dominion in life to strengthen and solidify, despite the fact that chaos and uncertainty surround personal agendas. With Saturn and Neptune in mutual proximity, the effort to dissolve foundations, traditions and institutions will reveal the essentiality of all things that contribute to the substrate of society and ensure a view of the world free of subjugation and suppression.

Following are some (and by no means all) transits and ingresses of note this next year, and how they may apply to personal evolution.

30 March: Neptune ingresses Aries (sextile Pluto in Aquarius)

Here’s the time to look at everything in the world as reflection, and to establish a soulful sense of self that runs clear of solipsism. As noted in the preamble above, with Pluto in the cosmic queue, too, the soul’s passion must crank the engine of the ego. Imagine being able to cleanse any stain and heal any sting from wounds inflicted by others and life. Imagine feeling fresh, enthused and convinced that inner resources may always be counted upon for engagement with life. When the thread of the soul is grasped, Neptune in Aries has successfully integrated.

24 May: Saturn into Aries (sextile Pluto in Aquarius, in orb with Neptune)

Upon Aries ingress, Saturn is immediately conjunct Neptune, though he does not catch up until February 2026. This transit is like the movie FIELD OF DREAMS (which came out during Saturn-Neptune conjunct): Will you plow under your cash crop and make a baseball field so imaginary (the spirits of deceased) baseball players show up to play and help heal your relationship with your father? And ultimately, according the film’s denouement, it all pays off and assures profitability. So will you? Will you, no matter what, follow your greatest visions to fulfill monumental soul-based objectives?

25 May: Chiron Conjunct Eris in Aries

This lesser known transit packs a wallop. The bottom line is to heal any wound that you feel holds you at bay, excludes your influence or alters your intended objectives for fulfilling pipe-dreams. How does this healing occur? Simultaneously, it is simple and complicated. Develop the knowing that you are included in life in the way you need to be included without comparison to social norms and standards. This is a Goldilocks aspect: Find you perfect fit in life. Strive to thrive in your personal zone of competence, never exceeding it. Know your capabilities and use them fully in ways that cause them to be sustained. Forget stats, actuarial tables and expectations. Measure up only to your combined skills and attributes.

9 June: Jupiter into Cancer

We’ve got about a year of amplified feelings of nationalism, chauvinism and patriotism. It will saturate the airwaves. Rah-rah this. Rah-rah that. The question regarding these raging themes is what deserves your personal pledge of allegiance? What supports your need to feel safe, secure and trusting in all institutions that claim to endorse specific aspects of life? Seek out only those beliefs and waves of emotional intensity that truly work within your personal nesting urges. Establish when to get out there and push. Sense when to hunker down. Take time to assess and understand the needs of those people who matter most to you and determine how you can be an ultimate contribution to their lives. And when those individuals in your personal care package render what they have to offer you, be gracious and receive all the good that assures your successes without reservation.

15 June: Jupiter in Cancer Square Saturn in Aries

It’s imperative to find your sense of humor and apply it to every detail of life. This final square of the pattern aligns with galactic influences that love irony. While it may be true the universe chuckles as mortals struggle, the universe never stops rendering solid insight, even if belly laughing. Here, the universe points out what tangents are, how to avoid them and what they suggest regarding deviating from strict orbital parameters. Will you drop off a flat edge of the Universe? Unlikely, but clarity regarding ultimate destinations must be refined, and a reality of how things feel when accomplished that differs from expectation significantly. Here the Universe will be kind enough to point out contradictions and notions held that do not contribute to your better causes. Balance and progress are at hand. Perceive clearly, react accordingly and manifest the greatest outcomes possible.

31 August: Saturn retrogrades back into Pisces

There’s a tad of reflexive action here. Any overstatements, over exertions, over extensions or anything beyond the beyond seek to contract into ones comfort zone. There’s a collective realization to this trend that reminds everyone that we’re all in this together. A balance within the sympathy/empathy axis causes enhanced awareness of the human condition, long term consequences of actions and causes of created conditions, whether those conditions are for good or not so good. Sensitivity and sentience work way better than emotional protections and defense mechanisms. Collective concern for and corrective action regarding all who are disadvantaged and downtrodden is reignited. So too, is attention to all ideas, services and products that fulfill true simplification in life.

8 October: Chiron Conjunct Eris in Aries, both retrograde

Social media says it all. Ones attitude toward being followed, liked, connected to and whatever inclusiveness underscores the realm serves to illuminate ones attitude about their perception of successful engagement in life. Here, given the dual retrogrades, personal assessment may be unnecessarily harsh. However, any self-inflicted criticism points out to a person any sense of the imposter syndrome. If feeling vulnerable, deficient, delinquent or inattentive to life, work with your inner energy to align the mind with the heart and the flow of energy (and blood) within the being. When flowing and pumping, apply the essentuak determination to overcome any internally perceived deficiencies.

22 October: Neptune back into Pisces

The brief era commencing here offers a review of all things regarding sensitivity. Here individuals balance their sense of personal sensitivity against the feedback rendered by life. One must develop a system of shutting out undesirable input without neutralizing receptivity. Each individual receives fresh input for expressing all feelings and reactions with no concern for the perception of validity perceived by others. Should comments be turned off on social media posts? If those comments fracture a person’s sense of self, then yes. Emphasize the need for personal alignment time and space such that free of life’s distractions, one can tune to the fact that Neptune now again squares the progressive input that comes from the Galactic Center. Hold new ideas close just long enough for those ideas to reveal their true merit. Then, contribute all insights freely and with confidence that cosmic needs are well served.

23 October: Jupiter in Cancer square Chiron in Aries

The transit of Jupiter square Chiron calls back to March of 2023 when Jupiter in Aries conjoined the centaur to whom he rendered relief from extreme pain. The point of this transit is simple: Determine which things in life cause unnecessary pain and cease putting energy and effort into those things. Accept the concerted work that healing requires and eagerly and enthusiastically do your part to ensure your healing sticks.

2 November: Jupiter in Cancer square Eris in Aries

And this transit recalls Jupiter in Aries conjunct Eris in April of 2023. Mythologically, Jupiter summoned Eris to aid him in reversing the order of the heavens for one day such that perspective of a political wrong could be created and the world set right, according the greatest beneficing planet. Here, you are called to participate in your version of setting the direction of the planet correct again and getting the train back on the tracks. Realize in this polarized time your efforts will not be met with consensus support. Perhaps, set your intention to do what you can to make the world right and leave it at that for a while longer. Be encouraged. At this time several wrongs will be accurately perceived. While water coming into the sinking vessel will be stopped, the pumping of water must continue without interruption to remove flooding waters.

24 November: Jupiter in Cancer retrograde square Eris in Aries

This transit may cause knee-jerk reactions to things one perceives as having gone awry. Recall that Eris possesses a long orbit around the Sun - slightly more than 562 years, in fact. Eris holds a daily rotation that is slightly longer than the Earth’s 24 hours - 25.9 hours. Consider that things will take a tad longer than expected and simultaneously require more energy. Consider that all effort applied in life must be long term and in the short term a remedy for angst felt in ones spirit. Realizing that the damage done can be arrested now and restoration and rehabilitation can be applied. The efforts required for reconciliation may be realized and the tasks feel daunting.

21 December: Jupiter in Cancer retrograde square Chiron in Aries

Again, Jupiter puts pressure on Chiron to get what causes emotion and psychic pain sorted out and fix it. It is important to assess any reduction of pain or hurt to be progress. It is important to realize that every step of betterment heaps up to create more betterment. Things that offer some improvement are beneficial and essential. Work to ensure that pressure put on the psyche to make stronger contributions in life are not restrictive or debilitating, solely contributive.

Granted 2025 sets up patterns that remain unfulfilled. It does feel like a year of treading water. However, treading water should not be viewed as a negative. It is a matter of holding position long enough for Neptunian agendas to migrate from mirage into Saturnian constructs that can be thoroughly evaluated and then engaged in manners consistent with Pluto’s insistence that with his tenure in Aquarius that we all actually need to get there from here.

The Pluto in Aquarius truth is humanity will not fully be restored in 2025. Nor will negative effects to the earth be mitigated. However, early in 2026, massive progress will again be perceived as Neptune returns to Aries in January 2026. The following month Saturn conducts ingress into Aries and finally aligns with Neptune. Here, holding the intention to take on even those rectifications that seem unimaginable can be seen as possible to imagine. Once imagined and defined, real world action for rectification flows more freely with each step taken.

Finally, Chiron conjoins Eris in Aries in March of 2026. Here personal healing is the rage. Issues of exclusion - the very bane of Eris’ existence - can be remedied with conscious attention. Bear in mind, though, such attention points out the need for unfailing devotion to ones soul and retaining a strong sense of personal wholeness no matter what feedback returns from life.

Half way through 2026 measurable collective progress becomes likely. Jupiter in Cancer again squares Chiron and Eris in June 2026. This sets up personal payoff from any ego-spirit-soul healing completed. Here, a true reversal of trends and fortunes can be perceived and believed to be real. Perspective regarding the real world and the nature and good of ones spirit becomes clear. Motivation to engage overtakes and collective perceptions of futility. A restoration of belief that humankind can evolve returns. Shiny object syndrome and diversion of attention in the interest of disguising truth lose their grip. Sensibilities can be restored and progress demanded.

2025 does contain progress, albeit not readily discernible. Holding position and space must be seen as good things. Cultivating personal wisdom, developing skills that can truly thwart those forces that oppose what should be the high side of Pluto in Aquarius contributes energetically this next year and will work into the building blocks of manifestation thereafter. Remember, Pluto will reveal dark underbellies and expose the intentions of all actions given time. Pluto will expose imposters, false profits and force all beings to examine why they do what they do. Therein, are cast the seeds of transformation!

Hold to your inner good. Foster all the gifts you are granted. Resolve to contribute to full engagement as those opportunities to shine appear. Can personal gains be made in uncertain times? Absolutely. Some believe that more opportunity exists in chaos than calm. Regardless, with your core set solid, are there limits to what you can do? Neptune (with Saturn) is quick to report that limits exist only in your ability to perceive the unimaginable. Imagine well and imagine huge!

More in the new year.
