There is no way to overestimate the power and significance of Neptunes entrance into the sign of Pisces, the sign
that it rules. Neptune is always the hardest planet to explain. Its basic nature is very unworldly, confusing,
non-definable and boundless. So, if it is boundless, how can one define it? There is nothing that it is not. Its
the God planet, if you will. This is no coincidence that this is happening now. It went into Pisces for a short
bit last year, but backed up into Aquarius where it had been for the past 15 years only to now enter its home sign
for good, for the next 15 years.
Complicating matters, which astrology is certainly wont to do, it is being accompanied by another planet that is
barely understood Chiron. So, now and for the next few years, we will have an even harder time exacting what
Neptune is doing as its archetypal influence will be mixed with those of the Centaur Chiron. Even so, these two
do have a lot in common as I have written much about during this past year.
Understanding Neptune: The last time it was in early Pisces was in 1848 when Karl Marx developed his Communist
Manifesto (His vision of a utopian equal society.) It also marked the time of the last performance by Piscean
Frederic Chopin (If you want to hear what Neptunes SOUNDS like, listen to Chopin.) I could spend a lot of time
explaining that period but it seems much more meaningful to just go directly into what is happening now and what
we are to expect.
NEPTUNE IS AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL PLANET AND YET IS ALMOST UNNOTICEABLE
It acts like dry ice. How much simpler can I put it. It sneaks up on you and is very subtle. It rules the oceans,
transcendental states of consciousness, deceit, secrets, heavenly experiences, glamour, illusion, confusion,
dissolution as well as disillusionment. There is so much to this ever-complex gaseous planet. It rules gases too.
Yes, along with Pluto in Capricorn, this is why fracking is in the news now.
Neptunes function is to dissolve our world that we have created attempting to show us that its really not real
at all. Physicists will make great breakthroughs during this period. Neptunes only belief is in Oneness. Its
the only planet truly based in reality if you will. Therefore, it is quite common during Neptune times that we
feel very confused because it will not support anyone or anything or any part of us that insists upon maintaining
the illusion of separateness.
Easy for me to say. It tells us that our bodies are not real, yet we appear to be stuck here, occupying one.
This is one reason that the motto of all Pisceans is, It doesnt matter. In the scheme of things, whats going
on outside of our body doesnt matter yet, it does. Welcome to the late section of the zodiac which, besides
being exquisite, is jammed packed full of apparent contradictions.
Getting down to brass tacks, Neptune is not here to disillusion us or turn us all into hopeless alcoholics and
drug abusers. It wants us to find our spiritual center. It IS the quiet voice within. However, not many of us
Westerners are very good at getting quiet enough inside to hear this core of wise guidance (I call it the Holy
Spirit.) There are thousands of direct links between the voice of Neptune and those of Christ, The Buddha,
Mohammed, Lord Krishna and many, many others. It is the voice that tries to influence us to take the high road.
And, I do mean the highest of roads into the skies.
Therefore, its not usually the best time for worldly advancement. Its time for peace, love and forgiveness.
Neptune is very, very slick dont ever even think about out-smarting it.
It cant be done. The Republican Party is finding this out now (maybe.) Neptune is completing its 186 year orbit
in the GOPs chart (in 2019). They would be very wise to heed the calls of Neptune or else the fog will set in
pretty thickly. Loss and fall from grace is the result of living a Neptune-less life.
The reason you cannot live a life ignoring Neptune is that all other roads lead to illusion and separateness
(hell.) This is one reason that so many people of all walks of life experience outright scandals when Neptune
becomes activated in their chart. Theres no squirming out of it. Its kind of like God seeing us naked in order
to see exactly what we are made up of spiritually. Many, many emperors have no clothes on at all.
We all know the simplicity enjoyed when we allow life to become calmer, simpler, more basic, and effortless; going
with the flow. This is Neptune operating at its finest. In its clearest promptings, it urges us toward a more
refined life, one with quieter music and surroundings, calmer people, less busyness and based in peace.
Its calling us home to our God-center.
Nothing else is real.

Neptune will no longer put up with REPS
Melissa G
(10,170 posts)but in the interest of Unity, will it not also deal harshly with partisanship in general?
anything that separates will dissolve. Voluntarily or vice-versa.
Neptune always operates like this: "Hey, looking around, what happened here? Where did all this stuff go?"

Thanks.
Melissa G
(10,170 posts)could you elaborate a bit more on this line?
>>>In fact, we are facing a very serious Plutonian nuclear threat in this country coming from abroad in 2015.
Thanks,
Melissa
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)very simply
1. In 2015 transiting Pluto will oppose the position of the USA's Sun
2. In astrology, if you put the USA's Sun on house #1, then PL will be hitting us from house #7
3. House 7, among many other things, represents "open enemies", or enemies you are aware of.
That includes the mid-East and N. Korea. Pluto rules nuclear war or threats of same. Put the rest together. Why? Because of the nature of our SUN. The Sun represents one's ego or power. Jealousy and outright hatred of the West will be the reason. The threat will be very real. I do not KNOW that this will happen, but it has me very nervous because of how we'll react.
That's why root for Neptune to bring us peaceful brains beforehand.
Melissa G
(10,170 posts)I will keep this peacefulness in my prayers and being.

(8,423 posts)This newsletter actually waltzes!
I knew it was going to be wonderful when it started with a line from one of my favorite Neil Young tunes!
And Chopin! You say Neptune helps us tune into our artistic selves? Well, the artistic musician in you spills into this newsletter like:
"Shades of Benny Goodman coming through the snow and the pinewood trees."
Really, the feeling I get is of arrival. The goal. The place we need to be. Where we were always headed. That blissful place in love and meditation and profound peace, that beautiful INNER PEACOCK! (Oh, man that SO rocks, RIck!)
"Home to Our God Center." ...Back to the Garden, we were always on our way.
SO well said, Rick! Thank you for your artful explanations and golden guidance.
We are so lucky and blessed to have you and yet another wonderful Newsletter with which to reflect ourselves:God

(3,794 posts)We can't get 2 or 3 lines to do a story without ending up with some prevert on the other side of Uranus, so, you write a waltz!
There's music in your heart all right. Thank you.

The nuclear threat sounds frightening. The last time I remember being afraid of a nuclear war was during the hostage crisis. I don't know if it was just my imagination, but it seemed closer during that time.
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)but it's real. It was brought on by us and our arrogant posture with other nations. I could make up stuff, but that's exactly what it is. We have time to chill, but too many "Americans" see that as weakness. We've been failing badly at the Neptune manifestation so far (Obama). And, it isn't his "fault". He's just the messenger, similar to how the country wasn't "ready" for Carter and thought he was weak because he talked first before raising arms.
We are important here at DU. We have to keep at it till others wake up. It's awful late.
I didn't say nuclear war. I said nuclear threats and attacks. Hopefully that won't happen and certainly that it doesn't escalate into a war. Ain't pretty.

(8,423 posts)that work with or channel the unseens, that they are actively thwarting those attempts and that we are being protected.
I am putting my faith in Neptune.. especially in the Godlike ways you have framed. Oh, man, your newsletter is beyond inspiring!
Do you cover the mysterious Chiron in your book?
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)It will take me years to get a handle on it because I just don't believe the major take on Chiron about all of its focus
on wounds and healing. I do believe greatly in the healing part, but I believe more that it represent an irrepressable future destiny for each of us, a road we must follow.
In the book, it's most argued as the appropriate ruling "planet" for Virgo.
See what you guys think - I'm just learning about Chiron. He's a strange bird.

(21,046 posts)I've been playing the waltzes since I was ten years old. Absolutely my old favorite composer on the piano.
Other faves: Mendelssohn Songs Without Words, Kurt Weill obscurities, bel canto solos, Mozart operas.
I am the OP
(18 posts)I repeat, SEVEN, mutable signs in her chart, including Sun in Sadge, Moon in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces?! Oh, and I guess I have 8 or 9 mutables because my Chiron is in Pisces and North Node (or is it South?) is in Gemini! With all this Pisces up in here (and more to come in a few weeks with the Sun), what is happening to me?!
Ricochet21
(3,794 posts)but I can't. 7 mutable planets may certainly imply this or that, but the placement of planets on your angles is of the utmost importance along with planetary aspects. I'd need to see your entire, accurate chart.
Also, either way, if your N or S node is in Gemini, the other is in Sag, both mutable. Saturn's placement can change everything.

on mindfulness. And she was approved.
I am mother to a Doctor of psychology.
I think this reveals the power of such movement.
Now she needs a job...
Thanks Rick. I knew something was up beyond our tiny human dramas.

(3,794 posts)It's way beyond huge, way beyond. And, I'm not exaggerating. You oughta listen into the readings I've had these past weeks.
It's so universal, new skies.
