Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy statutes. The choir of the saints have found the fountain of life and the door of Paradise. May I also find the way through repentance. I am the sheep that was lost: call me back to You, O Savior, and save me.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy statutes. I am the image of thy glory, though I bear the scars of my sins. Take pity on me, Master, and purify me by thy loving-kindness; grant me the homeland for which I yearn, making me again a citizen of paradise.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy statutes. In the beginning thou didst form me out of nothing, honoring me with thy divine image. But when I disobeyed thy command, thou hast returned me to the earth from which I was taken. Restore me to that likeness, that the former beauty may be formed anew.
