I would like to request prayers for my wife.

This afternoon we are to the hospital for some doctor order test, a sonogram of her gall bladder and her carotid arteries. My prayer is that both are negative as we have yet to find out why she was dangerously anemic. She had to receive 2 units of blood. So my brothers and sisters your prayers will be most appreciated.

And thanks to our host elect hrmjustin for letting me know this group even existed. I will keep all of you in my prayers as well as the whole DU community.

My mother went through carotid artery surgery on both sides. If she needs surgery don't get too worried because it is very common surgery.

7. Thanks to all of you

We haven't got the results of the two sonograms yet, maybe today. With the holidays I'm sure there are some delays. Also it might be a good sign that they didn't tell us really bad news. I will let all here know as soon as we know. She has an appointment with her GP on the 7th.

9. She has an appointment tomorrow with her GP

I hope her doc sets up the upper and lower GI test to see if she is bleeding. Also we will get the results of the sonograms. Thanks Justin for your concern and prayers.

And she is feeling better every day, has more strength and endurance. Before and for a while after the transfusions she was confused a lot and short of breath. That is much better now.
