What happens when you send cancer into space? - BBC News



Scientists have discovered that cancer develops at warp speed in space.

But, this can also lead to new research aimed at stopping it.

A team of scientists have teamed up with an aerospace company on a mission to the International Space Station, in order to conduct experiments on how cancer cells react – with the hope of ultimately developing drugs to prevent it.
