It's happening!! Tomorrow, on January 4, we reach perihelion - the point of the Earth’s orbit that is nearest to the Sun ☀️ This always happens in early January, about two weeks after the winter solstice. . . so shouldn't it be warmer since we're so close to the Sun? Why is it snowing? (In the Northern Hemisphere, anyway 😉
