Saw it first hand this morning driving son to BWI for his study trip. Hubby was going to but didn’t stop and I couldn’t get a good pic because he wouldn’t slow down enough . Full moon, Friday the 13th, and mercury retrograde, I’m hoping our son has a safe non-complicated trip.

We have skylights in our den. When my daughter and I were taking turns sleeping down there with our elderly dog, we were able to watch the fall and winter meteor showers.

My 2 favorite places to watch the stars - Fairhill, MD, and any Hwy 12 pull-off in the Outer Banks.
