My younger Brother passed this week

He had a stroke just before Thanksgiving, spent 2 weeks in the ICU and then went to Hospice care. He was 63 and nobody was prepared. Least of all, him. We now have to sort through his complicated business affairs, probate, everything.

And we miss him terribly.

As an aside: The cremation people are swamped with business thanks to Trump. Getting death certificates is slow as well.

she was warned repeatedly to stop drinking and smoking too. Didn't. We are profoundly sad, but at least in one way, my older sister had moved my younger sister (the 60 year old one) to be closer to her (geographically) recently, so we were able to take care of her (my 60 year old sister), and make sure that she was taken care of. A sad thing, but at least we're here to take care of her and her affairs. My best to you all, in your sad times.

I, too, lost my younger brother at age of 58 suddenly 4 years ago. Still a big hole in my life, but the tears do eventually turn to smiles of remembering times together.

Losing a sibling is horrible, I have lost two of my four sisters already and I miss them so much.

I also lost a younger brother recently. It took a bit over a month to have him cremated and we couldn’t have a funeral or memorial service.
