Bereavement
Related: About this forumGetting worse. Perhaps I been numb. Or in shock.
My step-dad and Elvis could've been twins. I found this recently. Up in years resemblance perfect. I loved my dad so. He was British born. Sheffield. We met his family in the early 70's when we traveled to Europe. I could very easily live there.Missing my husband, parents, all immediate family. The unknown future has me vacillating between hope and stress.
Thanks all for listening. 🩵

I must say in light of your words of wisdom, yes, I liken it to a scalpel having excised half of me away. Also, depersonalization. Like it's really not real.
Someone wrote something on DU that resonated exactly with me. I believe she lost a young son or brother. She said it had become as if she simply just 'imagined him' after some time had passed.
