Cool thing just happened!

My cook books have been 'missing' since I left our house in '06, and house later sold, so have looked for 'my' James Beard curry sauce recipe on several occasions, as it was a favorite.

Leftover chicken available now, and weekend would be perfect to prepare the chicken w curry sauce daughter likes. Again searched for the recipe, via google, and guess what???!!! I found MY remembered recipe, posted HERE in '09! 'Publishing' it again!

saute cut up onion, celery, garlic (any other aromatic veg too) and apple. Use O Oil or butter or whatever. Bay leaf. Add liquid from can of tomatoes (I use stewed toms, and as necessary I add some of the cut up toms.) Add curry powder to taste (1-3 t.), and salt. Add water if necessary. Stir, etc, and serve with/on whatever, cooked bird (left over chicken/turkey.) I serve with plain yogurt, chutney, raisins, and rice.

And the beauty of the internets.

More to the point, that looks like a good recipe. I need to try it. I love curried anything. Well, except tofu. Don't like tofu.
