I know in 2020 Minnesota, Wisconsin, Montana, and Arizona Native Americans went for Biden by large majorities and in Arizona they made the difference. Native Americans have long favored the Democratic party.

If this happened in either of the Dakotas, I'd strongly suspect voter suppression.
