There was an awesome tumblr which showed some of the men who answered "yes" to the question that was something like 'are there any situations where a woman is obligated to have sex with you?'

So... yeah.

Funny how they're ok with rape, but consider themselves to be 'nice guys'. It's also super cute how they think their failure to have sex with women is because wimminz are bad / stupid.

Guys like that need to just use their hand and stay far, far away from women.

I knew that some people had some stone age ideas about men and woman but WOW. Disturbing that the question would even have to be asked. Secondly that the amount of males that responded in such a way is horrific. Lastly that the Females are not 0% across the board is very sad.

We are all bombarded with messages about how men and women are expected to behave 'because biology/gender'.

Women internalize patriarchal values just like men do.

As is not being superficial.

I wish I were exaggerating or making stuff up for comedic effect, but people actually said this stuff.

http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/1985-05-31/features/8501210779_1_rapes-acquaintance-victims/2

``The first thing we say to women is to trust your instincts and not stereotype people,`` says SAFE`s McDonnell, who earned a black belt in the martial arts.

``Don`t get a Hollywood sense of a rapist as a man wearing a stocking mask lurking behind a bush. Instead, it will probably be someone who acts appropriately, might be well-educated, well-dressed, but he gives you a funny feeling.

``Trust your funny feelings, because your instincts are probably right.``

...

practiced in classrooms through role-playing.

``We are finding that boys believe girls say no because girls are supposed to, not because they really mean it,`` says Abarbanela. ``So if a girl says no and the boy perceives it as yes, he acts on his belief and you have trouble.

``We also found that if a girl goes back to a guy`s house, the boys say she is signing up for intercourse. We are trying to change these attitudes.``

Amazingly, these are still controversial concepts at liberal websites . . .

We are responsible for our children's education, both at home and in schools.

Although we are all bombarded by horrible media, parents still have power, and it is us parents that must continue to struggle against this sickness, one child at a time.

We can also make our voices heard by calling the sponsors of TV or radio programs that promote this.

A little bit, every day, we can make it better.
