and everywhere i turn and look, i am hearing whining about HOF. as we are looking at a world of mess.
and i say
really dudes and the few dudettes.
both sites. hof this and that. there is a fuggin list pinned on us. (this takes me to an interesting list thread yesterday. it totally confused me. but, i became the target, it seemed. not real clear on that.) sigh. we have a list on us, on another board. a list with our names. AA and women. now, will this post be hidden? because i am talking about us on a list, that is allowed. this is not making sense to me.
i just read a title. girls do not have the right to bare arms in utah. gigglin... ya. that. after i had just got done reading about texas men walking around with guns... intimidating an unarmed marine.... cause he dared to say something. and this groups of cowards with guns.... bullying on the street.
after a week of conversation about a 22? yr old vioce of hate, of women and mass murder.
and when in conversation. talking about all this hate toward women and girls. our death. i hear people talking about hof women being the very worst people ever.
and i say again.

(110,159 posts)irrelevant and a little comical there is this obsession.
i guess in all the mess, and to see so much focus on that, it tells me how productive we are in speaking out. so i really do not see it necessarily as a bad thing.
it allows us to be able to make points, htat clearly show the issues.

hof is the very worst person.... evah.
i am thinking we talk about some really bad, bad. yet a few of our fellow duers has no issue with making that statement.

(42,482 posts)One of the deepest things about me personally, is if I say I don't care, it's a true thing. It's not always a nice thing, but it *is*true
"They" don't like HOF? I don't care.
We are proactive and useful. 'They' are unfortunates, who blunder through life with no answers, no peace, only anger and projection. I don't care about that either.

That a group of strong, intelligent, women (and a few men) who speak up regularly about issues that affect and harm at least half the world's population, have been demonized as the worst of the worst.
It is really mind boggling to me.
This is not radical stuff, it is not complicated stuff, it is not even arguable stuff... yet people want to make arguments out of it.
I won't argue because I have trouble arguing something that is in-your-face obvious. Feels like people want to argue just because that's what they like to do.
Fuck that. I have a life. And circular arguments bore me to tears.
I do appreciate the hell out of those of you who continue to fight the good fight.
What's not comical is that so many women are harmed, at the hands of partners and strangers, every single day, all over the world, and so many people just seem to accept it as "what is".
That enrages me.
