I was just thinking of posting this. Just trying to think of the correct phrasing. Not only that the OP exposed a way for the whole board to get away without getting a hide. Post something mild, have a friend alert, let it pass the alert and then edit the post to be as offensive as you want, because the post is now alert proof.

On top of that if you are a host, hides are uncommon. because the host can self delete or edit before shit hits the fan. The bonus of that is also that the post can be edited before the result are in so it LOOKS like the hide was "ganging up" or something.
