‘Choking Girls All Around The World’ Seminar Ends In Australia Amid Protests

Self-proclaimed “date coach” Julien Blanc has cancelled his seminar tour in Australia and left the country after officials revoked his visa in light of online protests that highlighted his longtime promotion of abusive behavior against women.

In recent months, Blanc, a representative of global dating help company Real Social Dynamics, attained a following of men desperate for companionship through his “Ph.D. in female attraction” program. The dating strategy Blanc touts in online videos and in-person sessions centered on the use of force and disregard of consent as a means of gaining a woman’s attention.

Blanc took things further when he put his words into action through his social media campaign, #ChokingGirlsAllAroundTheWorld, a compilation of graphic photos that show him choking women. A viral YouTube video also follows Blanc as he wrings a Japanese woman’s neck and pushes it toward his pelvic area during a walk through the streets of Tokyo.

It should be no surprise as to why members of anti-domestic violence groups have likened Blanc’s video — which has had more than 50,000 hits — to lessons on how to rape. D.C.-based columnist Jennifer Li has launched a Change.org petition telling hotels across the world to not let Blanc and Real Social Dynamics hosts seminars in their venues. In addition to Melbourne, venues in Brisbane, Austin, and Seattle, and online ticketing service Eventbrite have answered the call.

Young men who have no idea how to talk with women, or to earn their attention - much less affection, or to have a well-deserved sense of self worth.

They pay $3,000 (or whatever) for snake oil, and then do not understand why it doesn't work, but then maybe create a second set of victims as they try their snake oil on women - possibly raising the game to real abuse when they find it does not work (one famous example of this).

They do not understand.

To a greater or lesser degree, we are all victims and prisoners of our insecurities. Rock-hard abs, weight loss pills, hair restoration, hair removal, wrinkle remover, damaged hair, body odor, or whatever. Our insecurities are a gold mine to the less than scrupulous.

From a very early age, we are bombarded with thousands of daily reminders of how we are much less than perfect - it is a wonder that anyone in the world is functional at all. Whether it is getting men to pay lots of money for snake oil, or coercing women with low self-esteem into bed, Julien Blanc and Neil Strauss have made a fortune from it whilst proving that bullies with bravado usually win in the first encounter.

7. i think the most harmful ability as a people, that i see. all these different stories how hateful,

ugly, nasty we can be toward women. to denigrate, shame, cause pain to, .... with such a need to humiliate women. like no other people. time and time and time and fuckin time again.

and all these stories saying, look at me, look at me, .... we try to reduce it so just one. minimal.

when our reality. our girls reality. they are watching this violence onto them in every direction they look.

music, media, tv shows, movies, games, internet.

hurt, hurt, hurt.... our girls to keep them submissive.

and we really act like, some men on du totally say it out loud, that this is not effecting us either as a boy or as a girl.

a boy always being told to hold his man card, he needs this need to shame and humiliate, degrade a girl to sexually get off and .... be a man.

and our girls? it really does not work that they will fall into line. what happens. at first, the vulnerable start falling over the cliff. the majority of us are on solid ground, turning to the screams as they fall off the cliff. it takes a while to realize what is up. that there was even a cliff. and they fell off? why the hell?

the strong majority of us women and girls in every day life, and looking at rapes as entertainment while watching tv. and music, we are whores and need to be fucked so hard, she cant stand anymore.

(that was a song i heard sittin in a car with my then 15 yr old son and 18 yr old nephew.)

we do not walk to the submissive like it appears some men think we ought and pisses them off further when we do not. we state. fuckin for real? enough of this shit.

i am so tired of seeing women abused for men to be entertained with, or a joke told at the expense of women, for them to laugh at.
