I need a way to listen to my favorite hosts who are being displaced by Clear Channel in Jan. Roku?

I heard that many are going to freespeech.org. I checked that out and it looks like it's only available through Roku. I have a question though. It looks like Roku makes your TV able to access the internet. If that's true, can I watch/listen to freespeech.org directly from my computer and eliminate the need for the Roku?

I listen to streaming progressive radio most of the day, and all night. I go to sleep with it and wake up with it. I know I can get most of the radio shows from their own sites, but I need a link that will play them continuously, like the AM radio station streams do now. \

Does anyone know the answer?

and Randi Rhodes. Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Amy Goodman and Thom Hartmann are all on there. I use the freespeech.org site for Thom when I'm home at his time.

Progressive Voices on Tune In: Carries Ed Schultz and most of the Dial Global Progressives live. That's Press, Miller, Schultz and Hartmann, plus Mike Malloy in his normal slot.

I don't have a station for Randi anymore, they all became sportstalk stations. Nicole Sandler is subbing for her for the next three weeks.

Maybe they'll get it fixed eventually. Progressive Voices - Tune In just went down. I'm listening to KPHX at the moment. It's good to have several alternatives.

They have very little local programming about 5 hours on the weekend.

They are one of the few stations independently owned. So no right wing corporation owns them.

This is all Central Time from Chicago.

All from my home town. Won't be able to make early Am shows, on account of the two hours ahead of the West Coast thing-ee.

Norm Goldman said iheart I the RW and he wouldn't be surprised if the progressives lost that radio source too.

I hope we can manage to keep our guys/gals on a stream SOMEWHERE!
I don't have a problem buying a Roku if that's the only way I'm going to be able to hear them. It just seems to me that there should be a way to stream the freespeech.org data that goes Roku directly from your PC.
