Westworld......

I think one of the first movies that AI was really introduced…….i could be wrong, but it’s one of the first TCM spokesman said it was. And I believe everything TCM says. And it’s been a great movie so far…..

so when we started watching the tv show Westworld I told her she should see the original source material. Let's just say that she's not the fan of '70s sci-fi that I am. Meh, I still love it.

But he directed the wonderful film “My Favorite Year”.

5. It's funny you should say that, my ex commented at the time about how hairy (read: disgusting) he was in that movie

which definitely colored her perception of his performance, I believe

I've always liked him, be it in this movie, Goodbye Columbus, or one of my all-time favorite films, Catch 22.

He was also in a very brief sci-fi tv comedy in the '70s called Quark, about a garbage scow set some time in the future. Eleven-year-old me loved it, I recall.

I suppose he's an acquired taste.

although my love is the old 50's SciFi. In fact, I watched three of them in a row last night... Earth vs. the Spider, When Worlds Collide, and Them (shoot the antenni!)... Hubby watches, but he's not as enamored with them as I am. My favorite of all time, tho is The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original).
