Interesting, when they said the pledge of allegiance they didn’t say “under god” when did that phrase under god become part of the pledge???

Reminds me of my childhood. In the early 60s my parents took in 2 foster boys when I was young and it was a positive experience. They lived with us from the ages of 10 until they could venture out on their own in their early 20s. My folks were loving, inclusive people, and lifelong Democrats.
