Lynx legends Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles among 2025 Hall of Fame candidates
Minnesota Lynx legends Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles are among candidates for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Moore and Fowles were teammates in Minnesota from 2015-2018, winning one WNBA title together. Minnesota went 73-29 in the three seasons when Fowles and Moore starred for the team together.
Moore was the first overall pick in the 2011 WNBA draft by the Lynx, where she played from 2011-18 before stepping away to focus on reform in the American justice system. She formally announced her retirement in January 2023.
During her illustrious career, Moore was named the 2014 WNBA MVP, earned six All-Star nods, seven All-WNBA honors and was named the 2011 Rookie of the Year.
