Democrats introduce themselves to Guam public online
The Democratic Party of Guam introduced the first half of its slate of candidates running for office on Thursday night via Facebook Live.
Deandra Villanueva and Clifford Guzman co-hosted the show, joined at the end by Lt. Gov Josh Tenorio and Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero. Here's the breakdown of the candidates:
Incumbent Sen. Joe S. San Agustin said that he will continue making the tough decisions that need to be made in a struggling economy, and he is willing to consider additional appropriations for GovGuam entities if government revenues pick up during the fiscal year.
Legislative candidate Chris Carillo said he has a plan to make health insurance more affordable, and he wants to use Guam's location in Asia to grow opportunities. He said that there is no one silver bullet to take care of all of Guam's problems, but he is willing to be a good team player in addressing those problems
