Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumJoe Biden is our presumptive nominee.
I am not very eloquent when it comes to my writing, I even have a hard time putting my thoughts into a post. With that said I am going to try to convey something that has bothered me for about a week.
As I said in the title line "Joe Biden is our presumptive nominee." Whenever a Sanders supporter posts a OP here, we all know why it's being posted (there is no if's and or buts about it). Many times after the OP is posted the person who posted it disappears which should re enforce "we all know why it's being posted".
When you engage, all you are doing is flaming the fire and to what end?
I myself will not be responding to any of them. If it's posted by a Biden supporter and it's about Sanders, I will not post in that thread nor recommend it.
It's like Covid-19 & flattening the curve. There's only one way to do it.
That's my rant & thanks for reading.

(11,504 posts)no matter the motive of the OP. If I find anything of significance in an OP which I think is deceptive or inaccurate, I consider it my responsibility to not let it go unchallenged, even if I am eventually found wrong in my response. To remain silent invites the false impression of my tacit agreement with the OP in question, and in my mind, a non-response would facilitate the spread of information or a sentiment I find disagreeable.
If this is not what DU is all about, what is? (This statement applies equally to the hypothetical OP and my hypothetical response to it, provided there is no intended malice in either one.)

(2,429 posts)and I think economic learning has changed during the Corona-virus recession.
You say: "We all know why it's being posted (there is no if's and or buts about it)". Dark hints of conspiracy. Like Magistrate's references to a "secret hand".
Please explain to me WHY I post my opinions.
I will vote for the Democratic nominee after the convention makes its choice, and until then I will vote and express my opinion. I resent dark insinuations on my motives.
