1. During the lone star operation

Abbott had state troopers lined up along a section of the border about 3 feet apart. They were having to run there engines the entire time. Which meant they also had to have fuel trucks delivering them gas the entire time. It was the biggest boondoggle I have ever seen. What good does a line of troopers over a mile or two do? He pulled them from all over the state. The only good thing was you really didn’t have to worry about getting pulled over. Just like his take over of the park. A waste of money. The Texas Mexico border is about 1,900 miles. Tossing in massive amounts of people into a few miles is the height of stupidity.
