(24,871 posts)corporations bribe politicians to do their bidding, how much can it cost to buy a handful of republican members of congress to get them to turn into Democrats? Far less than people spend on such political contests, I'm sure. I'll bet a few billion dollars would have us in control of congress very quickly.

As the saying goes, we fall in love, not in line.
We will have our best shot if we pick someone with charisma this next go around. Now, that's not a knock on Harris. I liked her and thought she would make a great President.
But charisma at the presidential level is decided by the collective.
