A potus has a huge amount of power.

He could send arms and intel to russia. Starlink could be shutdown within ukraine.

Troops could even be sent to take up front line positions solidifying russian territorial gains and freeing them to attack anew.

If he doesnt bother to consult congress, who could have a legal standing to oppose it?

In short, everything we have done for ukraine for 3 years could be done for russia instead. And then some.

Nato without the us can take up some slack, but once our support is behind russia, no country in europe would be safe.
