One person was killed and at least seven others were injured after a Tesla Cybertruck burst into flames outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The blast is now being investigated as a possible terrorist attack, three senior members of law enforcement briefed on the matter told NBC News. 1. There's so much coming out of the investigation.

I have a hard time trying to figure out what happened. I know it will take time to get the full story. Reports that he had a military background and a possible way to detonate them from inside the cab. To me it just doesn’t seem to make sense. If he was in the special forces and intended to make it a car bomb why fireworks that wouldn’t go off at the same time? Like I said I’m just confused and hoping they will come out with a good explanation of what happened.

3. The Vegas suspect has a military background and served at the same base as Shamsud Din Jabbar.

I'm not sure how significant that is, or if their service times overlapped.

Their only other similarities are that both vehicles were rented through Turo. But that's not much of link, any more than them both staying at places booked through Airbnb would have been link.
