Judge Cannon oversteps to shield Trump from Jack Smith report on alleged criminal activity - Alex Wagner - MSNBC

MSNBC legal correspondent Lisa Rubin and Mark Joseph Stern, senior writer for Slate magazine, talk with Alex Wagner about Trump judge Aileen Cannon "grabbing authority and power she does not have to return what has now become a predictable result for Donald Trump," and whether the American public will ever see the arguments for criminal cases against Donald Trump for election interference and mishandling of classified documents. - Aired on 01/08/2025.

the circuit court will take their time, then trump appeals to the supremes and the clock is running.

noon on jan 20 the report is shredded forever unless some brave soul leaks it, then who publishes it with kash patel's jackboots on their throat?

garland could release it today. the special council appointment requires a report , and that is internal executive branch separation of powers stuff. there is zero chance he will release .

the clock is running. we are long past the 2 minute warning, and only one side has to follow the rules. greatest country ever.
