1. Did I miss when they said it's scheduled to be open?

I didn't hear that at all. I love going to Chicago and I would definitely check that out while I'm there.

2. I believe they didn't give any specific date, only said it's "only months away" from offically opening

Looks like they're still working on several things, but they're close enough to opening to talk about it. And I sure agree, it looks like it has so much to offer, but then President Obama is behind it. I wish I wasn't as far away as New York.

3. Ah ha! I just found another video which says the Obama Presidential Center will open in June 2026!

The Obama Presidential Center Opens June 2026

Chicago is where Michelle was raised, where I got my start as an organizer, and where we built a family together. When the Obama Presidential Center opens next June, it will be our way to give back to a city that has given us so much.

More than just a museum, the Center will serve as a vibrant hub for the community. It will include a new branch of the Chicago Public Library, a community garden, a basketball court, a recording studio, classrooms, and more.

We want the Center to be a space where people come together and new ideas are born. And we hope that Chicagoans and people from around the world will visit and enjoy this space for years to come.
