The main reason, and I suspect the ONLY reason, he was trying to destroy all the evidence is because there’s enough in there to send him straight up the proverbial river. And he KNOWS it.

Now, I think it’d be a good idea to make sure there are copies of Absolutely EVERYTHING. Whatever’s still there. So there’s no way he can possibly know how many copies there are and where they hidden.
