Trump gets the news he's dreaded from Canada - Brian Tyler Cohen

In response to Trump's proposed tariffs Canada is teasing the prospect of reciprocal tariffs. Canadian politicians are now not only humoring the notion of a trade war, but gearing up for one according to reporting. Other members of Canada's parliament are calling on prime minister Justin Trudeau to ready a war room for the coming battle over tariffs with the United States.

1. Trump Is A Colossal Idiot

He is going to tank the American economy and the Global economy if he goes through with this hare brained plan to put massive tariffs on goods even on friendly governments and trade partners like Canada and Mexico. Trump is clearly an idiot who has no basic understanding of economics. This is not a surprise to anyone that followed his so called "business" career. His business plans relied heavily on debt and fraud and he declared bankruptcy numerous times over the course of his "career". This is not a person that understands the global economy. If these tariffs go through we can expect a huge amount of global and national economic turmoil. Prices will explode. It is foolish in the extreme.
