First of all, this was enlightening. I never looked into Musk much, figuring he was a blowhard like trump, and guess what? I was right. He and trump are truly birds of a feather. Musk got lucky on PayPal and used the money to buy himself the right to call himself a co-founder of Tesla. And thats just one element of his persona.
His trademark business strategy is to hell with employee safety or even concern for morale. Just work em to death or at the very least, disability. This is related to trump, whose version is to never pay anybody.
Another commonality is they that both dont mind making total asses of themselves in writing. Bother to research anything? Even if they do, they pay no attention to what they found. That incident with Halli boggled my mind.
There seems to be no concern whatsoever about their reputation because to them, a lie is just as good as ethos.

Satisfying to see him fail.
Remember Hummers? Expensive monstrosity. I have a neighbor who got stuck with one and I laugh every time I drive by it.
The ugly cyber truck will have that status soon, if it doesnt already. It will be a monument to Musks desire to appear to be unconventional and daring. A dazzling genius of futuristic design.
Now supposedly the cyber truck resists dents and is easy to repair. Also, it is designed in such a way that the occupants sit toward the center ( for the sake of safety). Those would be valuable features if he was able to keep the price in line with competitors like the F150. I dont know what the F150 goes for, though. The cyber truck is $79,000. $82,000 up to $102,000 for the 2025 version.

.
When you watch this video, he often straightens his shoulders and thrusts himself forward. Posturing. It seems he is always posturing.
This reminds me of someone who is not concerned about a true exchange of communication with the listener, but of what and how he is going to say something. Never once does he clarify; instead he seems to be setting the stage for his next grand pronouncement.
Communication is a wonderful tool to get the thoughts of another person, another viewpoint, another set of eyes. What could be wrong with that? You can only benefit from the thoughts of others, provided they are willing to be honest with you.
Contrast this affect with what we see from a person like Jamie Raskin or Andrew Weissman. Instead of self-conscious posturing, what we see with them is intense concentration. There is sawdust on the floor from the mental work they are doing. Engagement is what we see: not some prancing peacock looking for an ego stroke.
