It's more like being a child returned to the abusive foster family. The child has no say where as USUALLY the abused wife can try to get to a shelter, and escape.

I didn’t vote for Musk/Trump and I’m being forced to endure their abuse for four years +.

At my age, 70 years and 9 months old, there’s also a chance their term could outlast me. I’ve told my 77 year old husband he is not allowed to die and leave me alone while we are under this coming regime.
