(3,115 posts)I am in no way telling you who to admire. Think of him what you like. I grew up in the era of Che shirts and understand the mentality, even though I dont agree with it.
As for rich people and their views of capitalism, Ive seen no indication any of this was rooted in Marxism or a desire to bring capitalism down from the inside.
Indeed, he was surfing and chilling in Hawaii of late, not plotting how to seize means of production.
I also cannot help but suspect that, were he a pudgy neck beard, hed be less of a Robin Hood figure and more like demonstrating toxic masculinity and gun-humperdom after being rendered impotent by his medical issues, but branding and looks go a long way in our culture.
Not sure what that will get him in the long run. Ask Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
