(17,381 posts)23. If Die Hard is a Christmas movie (I'm not arguing it isn't), why isn't
Lethal Weapon accepted as a great Christmas movie? It also takes place during Christmas and even opens with "Jingle Bell Rock" and a scene involving some Christmas lights IIRC.

Didn't understand that movie. Christmas lights, all women except wives naked prostitutes, guys in Halloween costumes.

I'd take Christmas Story over Die Hard. Shep is SLIGHTLY more hypnotic than Rickman.
