I can't stand what's going with health insurance. Been there myself. Right now, I can't get my Rx filled. I don't have money. I'm long disabled and my husband is a retired educator and has been totally at mercy with Texas legislature his entire life!
We are also stuck with UHC as his retirement insurance.
Would murdering one of the creeps in the Texas legislature improve things in Texas?
Just because some handsome guy killed a health insurance CEO doesn't make murder right.
With that kind of logic, we should just get rid of all the GOP this way.
Even if this guy is found NG. It's not gonna change a thing. It has not moved a needle.
Don't accuse me of working for health insurance or me worrying about a portfolio!
I'm just a retired person who does not support vigilantism.
As to why this killing is supposedly bringing out a conversation? Why didn't this conversation happen BEFORE the election? Everyone has health coverage problems. I'm involved with the local Democratic Party. The national platform starts from the bottom up. The platform is formed by the state party and on to the DNC It was a big message in 2008, 2012 and 2016. By 2020, it wasn't. In 2024, it wasn't.
Lack of health coverage and holding those accountable should have been a larger part of our messaging in 2024.
Why did people vote for Trump?
Will the GOP hold the health care industry accountable? Will it increase regulation and make it worse?
It's like guns. There's a shooting and nothing happens.
What do you propose to improve health care?
Do you propose killing more people?
I'm sorry, but my proposal is to elect Democrats. We're the party of the people.
