Would murdering one of the creeps in the Texas legislature improve things in Texas? Off-topic.

Just because some handsome guy killed a health insurance CEO doesn't make murder right. Do you believe in self-defense as a mitigating factor? I do. Handsome? That's debatable - I think Chris Helmsworth is handsome. That is off-topic too.

Don't accuse me of working for health insurance or me worrying about a portfolio! I didn't accuse you of anything. I explained that many people on DU have motives. I don't know if you do or not.

As to why this killing is supposedly bringing out a conversation? Why didn't this conversation happen BEFORE the election? Everyone has health coverage problems. I'm involved with the local Democratic Party. The national platform starts from the bottom up. The platform is formed by the state party and on to the DNC It was a big message in 2008, 2012 and 2016. By 2020, it wasn't. In 2024, it wasn't. How am I supposed to know why the DNC does anything? I voted for Bernie. I also voted for Biden, and came back to DU because young women are dying from lack of healthcare. That's why I'm here, and donated to Kamala. I tried even though I'm more of a socialist at heart. Because I know damned well the right-wingers are even worse.

Lack of health coverage and holding those accountable should have been a larger part of our messaging in 2024.
Why did people vote for Trump? Well, that's a large topic. What does that have to do with Luigi? I wasn't invited to write any speeches or ads. You can be sure they'd include demands though, one of which would be single payer insurance

Will the GOP hold the health care industry accountable? Will it increase regulation and make it worse? Again, what does that have to do with Luigi.

What do you propose to improve health care? I propose single payer insurance. Period.

Do you propose killing more people? You're going to have to be more specific. And I'd like your response about self-defense before I bother to answer.

Now that you've thrown everything at the wall, do you feel better? I'll tell you what makes me feel better. Seeing people from all walks of life TOGETHER embracing Luigi. Because it scares the ever-living crap out of the oligarchs. They waste a lot of time keeping us divided, and I'm not going to contribute a second more to that kind of nonsense.
