Time of Useful Consciousness (TUC Radio) explains monetized mass propaganda and its impact - now more than a century in action...
Alex Carey said that the people of the US have been subjected to an unparalleled, expensive, 3/4 century long propaganda effort designed to expand corporate rights by undermining democracy and destroying the unions. May be obvious to some, but most have no clue how important the media are for the rich to continue getting richer as the middle class evaporates into poverty -- the place where the poor get poorer and democracy vanishes down the Memory Hole. So, good thing for DU, otherwise we might never hear from democracy again.
