Look – Platner isn’t the perfect candidate. His unforced errors reflect a campaign that needs to tighten up and stop running like they know he’s in the lead. We aren’t going to rehash all the very real concerns about his time as a Blackwater mercenary, or online posting history, or his lack of careful language. But his campaign is riding a wave of populist anger against MAGA and provides a crucial opportunity to take out the forever
unpopular, but still powerful, Susan Collins. If someone is committed to growth and shows a willingness to be better than they have been, then we have to take this chance while it’s available.

We RECOMMEND that you vote for Graham Platner for U.S. Senate.

Platner was not a DSA member and the Maine DSA did not explicitly endorse him Celerity Monday #35
Platner was recruited to run by DSA members, and was endorsed by Bernie Sanders. SunSeeker Tuesday #42
that is not what was asked, nt Celerity Tuesday #44
Yes it was. Platner was for all intents and purposes a DSA candidate. SunSeeker Tuesday #45
No, that was not the question asked by the other poster. Celerity Tuesday #46
The point is, Platner didn't need to be a "card carrying member of DSA" to be a DSA candidate. SunSeeker Tuesday #47
No. As I already posted in my initial reply to the other poster: Celerity Tuesday #56
I am well aware of what you posted. None of it negates the fact that he was a DSA candidate. nt SunSeeker Tuesday #57
No, your desire is not the determinant of fact, and I have shown effective, documented rebuttals to your claims. Celerity Tuesday #60
You have not rebutted my statements of fact, let alone done it effectively. nt SunSeeker Tuesday #62
Yes, he was clearly the DSA candidate. It's quite trippy to Nixie Yesterday #67
