Given the negative impact of his economic policies once enacted, they see his popularity and influence waning, likely sooner than later. And I sense that they are not too keen on having a whacked out foreign-born zillionaire pulling on Dear Leader's puppet strings. So best putting them both in their "proper" place here and now. The "primary" threat will not be what it once wa with a hapless lame duck in office. GOP lifeboats at the ready, hoping not to go down with a sinking MAGA ship. I sure wish the rest of us might also escape unscathed.
