Republicans see trouble with independents for Trump

The only thing consistent about independents/swing voters is their lack of commitment. They spend their electoral lives believing right-wing talking points, but hating the actual "results" republicans provide when in control. That's my experience talking to so-called independents. Their only political philosophy is constant inconsistency and they're a big part of the problem. The only thing we have to be grateful for regarding independents is that Dems have their vote when the republican they last voted for screws up, again.
