Now, if we can only get the nations of the world together to honestly discuss sincere and legitimate approaches to the shared priority of fighting climate change.

One approach that all nations could agree to work together on right away would be to reduce CO2 emissions by shutting down fossil fuel industries and replacing them with clean energy industries. That only sounds simple, because it is.
