Begging readers' pardon, a defense of the 'indefensible'

I have thought since the pardon was announced that Pres. Biden had not been lying, but telling the truth about his intentions.

Incidentally, I don't think the 47th blunder has lied as much as peple in the press say he has: he doesn't understand the value of a human being's word, or of integrity. He just says what he thinks his base want to hear, what will flatter them, what will move their feet to a voting booth. He doesn't have enough of a brain to function as an adult, so he indulges himself and his followers by pretending that thinking doesn't matter, just feeling.

As for Pres, Biden, he has very high personal moral standards, and equally high standards for public ethics. But he's not a dummy. He believes there's evil in the world, and would like to keep his son out of its clutches. Good for him.
