I was on vacation out of the country for the election and couldn't watch it on television. I watched on my phone and then just cut it off. Upon my return, a couple of weeks after election day, I canceled my cable, as even MSNBC was too much. I cannot watch P*$$Y-Grabber or hear his voice. I almost lost it during his last administration. Likewise, I canceled the NYT & WaPo. My brothers tell me I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face, but I'm done with both.

I am loving the fact that I'm saving so much money after canceling cable. I now read The Atlantic and come to DemocraticUnderground pretty regularly, although I very seldom post anything. It's going to ber a REAL shit show, and READING about it doesn't trigger me as much as it does watching & listening to it.

And yes, our "mainstream media" did one of the most horrendous jobs in 2024 that I've ever seen. I just cannot dwell on it, as it will make me too angry all over again, and I just cannot bear it. . . .
