We had a manufacturing site between Lyon & Grenoble.
I flew into the Lyon airport from Rome, and stayed the night in Lyon. That's right on the east edge of Beaujolais.
The whole town was jumping.
Hotels were packed.
I got to try a glass the day after it was released at the Cafe across the street from the hotel.
I liked it. Very fruity, great aroma.
It's the only time I had any.
