18. Another tornado encounter here

I was driving on I-95 from Dover, NH, to Concord, MA. It was a sunny day but where the road is high, I was looking off in the distance at a sky that was black and boiling. I can remember thinking it reminded me of the sky in The Wizard of Oz. I drove right into it and the rain came down in sheets, visibility was zero and I nearly hit a truck I was passing. At one point, the wind and rain eerily stopped but leaves were blowing around me. By the time I got to my hotel, my hands were hurting from the white-knuckle steering, and I was thinking maybe I'm too old to be driving if a rainstorm shakes me up that much. Once I settled into my hotel room, I turned on the news and they had a video of a truck in a tree. I swear it was the truck I had almost hit! On the news they said it was a tornado and I decided maybe I wasn't too old after all.
