(1,189 posts)102. I worked part time at a pizza place through college so got to experiment a bit.
Pineapple was a discovery. A bit of pineapple could be combined with a lot of things in a surprising way on a pizza.
Pineapple and ham was a good place to start. My favorite taste experience ended up as pineapple, ham, pepperoni and a little bit of anchovy. Not something I would have conceived of out of the blue but plenty of time to experiment led me to it.

Yup- Not only that, but I cut pizza with a knife and fork if it's too hot to bit into. The travesty! The Travesty!!
