Eggs are much cheaper here. (Exurbs on Chicago)
The store brand eggs at Walmart are $2.16 per dozen.
They have larger packages of 18, 24, 36, and 60, with the per dozen prices ticking down a cent or 2 as package size goes up. The brand names are, of course, higher.
They are much more at Jewell-Osco (the Midwest name for Albertsons), but still not as high as near you.
